April: Beginning of golf season. Best time to travel in terms of value and access to tee times (especially Old Course). Temperature is mild and statistically one of the driest months in Scotland.
May: Perhaps the best month to travel. Weather is warmer and dry, and courses are not overcrowded.
June: Long days and courses are still not too crowded.
July: High season. Demand for tee times is high - especially around British Open week. Need to book well in advanced.
August: High season. Demand for tee times on the more popular courses is very high, thus tee times are limited.
September: Perfect month to travel if Old Course is not in your plans (course closed for much of the month).
October: One of our favorite months in Scotland. Less crowded and courses are in great shape. Great value.
